Nico Bella – Mr. & Mrs. Viet Vu

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Viet Vu wedding at Nico Bella in Morgan City! I met Steven and Alyssa after I photographed Alyssa’s sister Amber’s wedding at Warehouse 535. Steven and Alyssa are the absolute sweetest and they have two of the most precious little girls.

I asked them to each share their favorite parts of their wedding day with me, and here’s what they had to say:

From Alyssa: The ceremony was my favorite part of the wedding. I felt like it was the only part of the celebration that time stood still. The second I started walking down the aisle all I seen was Steven, my best friend, staring at me with watery eyes. The decision to write our vows was a hard decision for both of us, we aren’t the best with putting our feelings in words on paper. Steven blew me away with his vows. I loved once we were announced husband and wife, we walk down the aisle with our daughters. I remember thinking to myself I just cannot stop smiling the entire wedding. It was one of the best days of my life.

From Steven: The best part was seeing Alyssa walking down the aisle towards me, she took my breath away. Another favorite time of the wedding was when we exchanged our vows. Doing our own personal vows to each other was the best decision. I also enjoyed partying it up with our family and friends during the reception.
