In December, I flew to Philadelphia to shoot the Tarrant Wedding. Bridget and Steven got engaged in March of 2015, and were married by the end of the year. Growing up across the street from the Lyons dairy farm, and me being an only child, Bridget would keep an eye on me after school during the week while my parents worked. Fast forward twenty years later, and the closest person to a sister I will ever have is getting married. I have photographed all of the Lyons grandchildren over the course of the past five years, so it only seemed fitting that I photograph Bridget and Steven's wedding. I was so excited to be back in Philadelphia, I love that city so very much. I love these two so much, and I am so happy they found each other in this crazy world! I am so excited to finally be able to share my favorites from their wedding!!
Naturally the wedding day is crazy, but when most of your wedding party has children the day tends to get a little more hectic. We spent most of the day running around making sure everything was ready, and all night dancing. Bridget made sure to have some Cajun music and some boudin too. As you can tell Bridget's favorite color is LSU purple, and yes I'm making that a thing, because it is a very specific shade of purple. Also, how beautiful is the Cathedral Basilica where they met, and got engaged?!?! And The Merion blew me away with their venue! I might be a little bias, but I think everything was perfect for her and Stephen's day.
