Kristen & Grant got married on a cloudy Louisiana spring day at Sunny Meade. The dusty blue hues and weather meddled together perfectly. Almost a year later, yes I am aware how that makes me look, but I am happy to finally share these images. If there's one thing about Kristen & Grant, they know how to have a fun reception and you can see the love between them! Big thanks to Hannah Herpin Creative for helping me out with this one.
We were going on vacation to Disney World with Grant’s family which was the senior trip for his twin siblings. I had no idea that he was planning to propose and had also arranged for my family to drive to Disney from Louisiana to surprise me! The morning that we went to Magic Kingdom, we were walking down Main Street and his mom stopped us at one of the photographers. She played it off that we were just going to take couples and family pictures really quick.
When Grant and I went up for our turn, we took a few pictures but then he tried to distract me by looking at one of the stores, and that’s when my family ran out from hiding and he got down on one knee! I was so surprised to see my family and it was so fun to be able to celebrate with both of our families.
Kristen: Our first look because Grant started balling, my dad’s signature “Shout” dance, and my first look with my bridesmaids!
Grant: The ceremony, first dance with Kristen and my mom, and the dance floor.
