I’m excited to share these photos of Carolyn & Josh! I am so happy to have met these two beautiful souls! When Carolyn, Josh, and I all met for coffee I knew we would be a good fit. I shoot at Jungle Gardens more than I care to admit. I just love it there so much, especially in the spring when everything is blooming! I’m definitely looking forward to photographing their wedding!
I asked Carolyn & Josh to tell me about how they met. Here’s what they had to say:
How we met:
Josh and I first met in college. He was studying chemical engineering, and I was in business, so our paths had never crossed before. One of the first things he told me was that we would probably never see each other on campus. I laughed and told him he’s probably right but that he should take my number just in case. Sure enough, over the next week, he ran into me around campus three or four times, and finally, he texted me and recited every detail he could remember about me from the night we met.
Engagement:
We were hanging out with family one night and jokingly talked about going to Italy over drinks. A few days later, Carolyn’s cousin called me and asked if I’d actually consider going to Italy with them. When we realized this was really happening, I knew that this would be the perfect way to propose. Traveling together is one of our favorite things to do, and I knew this would be something special that we would never forget. Our 2nd day in Italy, we visited Positano, a small village along the Amalfi Coast. We found the most picturesque spot to take pictures, and when Carolyn handed off the camera to her cousin to take our photo, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
