I am so happy to finally share Aysia & Quinton’s engagement session on my blog. Aysia and I met a few years back at Megan & Mitchell’s wedding, and we hit it off instantly. A couple years after that, I photographed her sisters wedding in Abbeville! Now, it is finally time for Aysia & Quinton to tie the knot. We did their session at the UL Alumni Center, and thankfully it was midweek and the weather was absolutely perfect! I am so excited to photograph their upcoming wedding. <3
Their story:
It’s crazy to think how long it took for Quinton and I to get an introduction. We had the same circle of friends for five or six years, but never had a reason to actually meet until a friends birthday in early 2017. I’d like to say we officially met at Agave for dinner, but let’s be real it was sitting at the bar in Marley’s later that night (don’t judge😅). We talked all night and had our first date the very next weekend.
A little over a year into our relationship we decided to look at rings and picked out two that we both loved. It was about a year later when it finally happened (thanks to a torn Achilles ruining the majority of 2019 lol).
We decided to do Friendsgiving with our closest friends and I was super excited. I had a hunch something was up throughout the day because he was acting completely weird but figured I was just crazy. It wasn’t until everyone had dinner and we were visiting that Quinton sneakily got his friend Bryce’s attention to capture the moment. He got down on one knee in the middle of the room and asked me to marry him. It was everything I ever wanted and it was so amazing to be surrounded by so many people we love.
