Autumn in the Bayou – Styled Shoot – KGA Event Management

Last week Kori Abshire with KGA Event Management hosted a styled shoot with some amazing vendors in town. Her inspiration for this shoot was Autumn in the Bayou. It was a perfect theme for the Victorian Plantation. I'm grateful to have made new friends in this ever evolving industry.

After I sent Kori my photos from this shoot, I asked her if she could answer a few questions in regards to it.

Favorite part of planning this event?

My favorite part of planning this styled shoot was working with all of the amazing local vendors. It's so important to me to stay local! So getting to know different local vendors and working with them has been the best part of the whole process! I am never disappointed! The Acadiana area is full of incredible small businesses that have a lot to offer to the wedding/event industry.

How did you feel when you saw everything together?

Seeing the styled shoot all come together was incredibly rewarding. I can't say enough so amazing the vendors are. Some even stayed throughout the entire event to lend a helping hand! Literally, some even held my baby for me while I ran around making sure things were going smoothly. Also, to see my vision come to life through the images of the talented photographers is always the cherry on top!

Why should couples hire a event planner/coordinator?

Couples should considering hiring an event coordinator because it allows them to be present during their big day, with zero worries! Hiring an event planner/Coordinator also ensures that the vision they have for their wedding day will come to life because they have hired a professional to get it done!
